Thanks to those of you who raced our second Spring Thaw Duathlon on April 30th.  After an evening of spectacular thunder storms, the weather finally cooperated early that morning and we had a great day of racing. 

 

I'd like to thank Milliseconds Timing for spoiling us with their great timing (sorry we won't have them for the next event) and you can check out the results on www.milliseconds.com or this site.  Milliseconds will be the official timing company for the 2006 Valley Girl Triathlon. Thanks Eric!

A big thanks to Summer, from Qdoba Mexican Grill, for bringing out their yummy chips and salsa!  They will be at the last Spring Thaw Duathlon again on May 21st--same time at Nine Mile Falls Elementary.  We are donating some of our proceeds to the Nine Mile Falls Elementary school library for letting us use the area in and around their school.   

 

Also, a big thanks to Robin at Fitness Fanatics as well as REI for their awesome prizes and Group Health Cooperative and Hammer Nutrition for their great bag stuffers!  We do have finishing ribbons for all of you so let me know at the next race if you haven't received your ribbon.
